Privacy Policy

Short version: the text you type is converted inside your own browser and is never sent to us.

Last updated: October 28, 2026

The short version

FontSoo is a front-end tool. The conversion from plain letters to styled characters runs as JavaScript on your own device. We do not receive, transmit or store the text you type, and we keep no record of which styles you generate or copy. Closing the tab erases everything.

The rest of this page explains the small amount of data that does exist because any website on the internet produces it, and what you can do about it.

What we do not collect

  • No account, login or profile — so no name, email address or password is collected by the generators.
  • No server-side copy of the text you type, the styles you pick, or the buttons you press.
  • No clipboard access. Copying is done by your own browser when you click the copy button.
  • No sale, rental or sharing of personal data with data brokers. We have none to sell.

What is collected automatically

Like nearly every website, our hosting provider keeps standard server logs. These exist for security and capacity planning and typically contain:

  • The IP address the request came from.
  • The date and time of the request, and the page or file requested.
  • The browser and operating system identified by the user-agent string.
  • The referring page, if your browser sends one.

These logs are not linked to any identity, because we have no identity to link them to. They are retained for a short period for abuse investigation and then discarded.

Emails you send us

If you write to us, we keep your message and our reply so we can follow the conversation. That is the only personal data we hold deliberately. We keep it for as long as needed to resolve the query, and you can ask us to delete it at any time. We never add your address to a mailing list, because we do not run one.

Cookies

A cookie is a small text file a site stores in your browser. The FontSoo generators require no cookies at all to work — every style is computed from the input you type, so there is no session to remember.

Cookies can still appear on this site from the sources described in the next two sections. You can block or delete all of them without losing any functionality of the tools.

Advertising and third-party cookies

FontSoo is free to use and is funded by advertising. Pages may display ads served by Google AdSense or other third-party ad networks.

  • Third-party vendors, including Google, use cookies to serve ads based on your prior visits to this and other websites.
  • Google's use of advertising cookies enables it and its partners to serve ads to you based on your visits to this site and/or other sites on the internet.
  • These vendors may also use web beacons, pixels or similar technologies to measure ad performance.
  • We do not receive the personal data these vendors hold, and we cannot read or change their cookies.

You can opt out of personalised advertising. Visit Google Ads Settings to disable ad personalisation, or aboutads.info and youronlinechoices.com to opt out of participating vendors in your region. Opting out does not remove ads; it makes them less relevant to you.

If local law requires a consent prompt before advertising cookies are set, one is shown before those cookies load, and you may change or withdraw your choice at any time.

Analytics

We may use privacy-respecting traffic measurement to understand which pages are useful. Where aggregate analytics are used, they record page views, approximate region, referring source and device type — never the text you type into a generator. Analytics data is viewed only in aggregate and is not used to build a profile of any individual visitor.

Your rights

Depending on where you live, you may have some or all of the following rights over personal data about you:

  • Access — to be told what we hold and be given a copy.
  • Correction — to have inaccurate data fixed.
  • Erasure — to have data deleted, often called the right to be forgotten.
  • Restriction and objection — to limit or object to certain processing.
  • Portability — to receive your data in a machine-readable format.
  • Withdrawing consent — where processing is based on consent, to withdraw it at any time.

Residents of the European Economic Area and the United Kingdom have these rights under the GDPR and UK GDPR. California residents have rights under the CCPA/CPRA, including the right to know, the right to delete, the right to correct, and the right to opt out of the “sale” or “sharing” of personal information. We do not sell or share personal information as those terms are defined, and we do not knowingly use sensitive personal information for advertising.

We will not discriminate against you for exercising any of these rights — the tools stay free and identical either way.

How to exercise your rights

Email arturazedo0510@gmail.com with the subject line Privacy request and describe what you want. Because the generators store nothing, in most cases the only data we can find is email correspondence, and the honest answer may be that we hold nothing about you. We respond within the timeframe required by the law that applies to you, normally within 30 days.

Data retention

Server logs: kept briefly for security, then discarded. Emails: kept until the query is resolved, or until you ask for deletion. Generated text: never stored, because it never reaches us. Advertising cookies: retained according to the vendor's own policy, which you control through the opt-out links above.

Children's privacy

FontSoo is not directed at children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from them. The tools require no registration, so a child can use them without providing any data. If you believe a child has sent us personal information by email, contact us and we will delete it.

International visitors

FontSoo is operated from outside the European Union and the United States, and our hosting provider may process requests in several regions. Where personal data is transferred across borders, we rely on the safeguards provided by our processors and keep the amount of data transferred to the minimum described above.

Security

Pages are served over HTTPS, and no user input is transmitted or stored. That design removes most of the risk that normally surrounds a web form. No system is perfectly secure, but a breach here could not expose text you typed, because we never had it.

Changes to this policy

If this policy changes in a way that affects you, we update the date at the top of this page. Material changes — for example a new category of data or a new advertising partner — are described here, not buried. Questions about anything on this page? Write to arturazedo0510@gmail.com.
